Holiday craft sale
HARRIS — A holiday craft show sponsored by the Bark River – Harris PTO will take place in the Bark River – Harris School gym on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to attend is $2 for adults, but children 12 and under are admitted free.
A concession stand manned by the senior class will also be available.

Hunters Turkey Dinner
RAPID RIVER — The Annual Hunters Turkey Dinner will be held at Walter W. Cole Post 301, Rapid River on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m.
A raffle drawing will take place at 7 p.m. Children under four eat free.
Chili feed with special guest Santa Claus
HERMANSVILLE — The Hermansville’s Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 340, along with the Sons of American Legion Post 340, will be hosting a fun-filled community chilli feed on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Sportsman’s Club, by the pond in Hermanville.
There will be cookies and hot chocolate for kids, and all children will receive a gift from Santa. The “cost” for the event is a donation of either nonperishable canned goods or children’s winter clothing. All proceeds will go to the food pantries and schools.
Eagles charity breakfast
ESCANABA — Escanaba Eagles 1088 will be serving their 5th Sunday Charity Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds will support Escanaba Schools’ Title 6 Indian Education program.
