ESCANABA — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle for the week of May 2 is Janice Beauchamp, of Escanaba, who won $100 This was week 40 of the raffle.

Memorial UMC ­rummage sale set

GLADSTONE — Memorial United Methodist Church of Gladstone, located on Lakeshore Drive near McDonald’s, will be having a rummage sale Thursday, May 19, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and a bag sale on Saturday, May 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The sale will feature household items, clothes items and shoes.

Holy Name reunion ­planning meeting

ESCANABA — All former classmates from the Holy Name Class of ’70 are invited to a reunion planning meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, at the Family Inn in Wells.

The reunion will be Sept. 8 and 9 of 2022. Details for both of these days will be discussed at the May 25 meeting.
