GLADSTONE — Gladstone Legion Post 71 will hold a combined meeting Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

Right to Life to meet

ESCANABA — Right to Life of Delta County will meet Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 P.M. in Room 901 of the Joseph Heirman University Center. The poster contest winners will be given their awards before the business meeting.

Plans will be made to mark the 49th anniversary of the Jan. 22, 1973, Supreme Courts, Roe v. Wade decision. This ruling legalized abortion in America.

Game and card party

GLADSTONE — The Friends of the Gladstone Public Library will hold a fall game and card party Thursday, Nov. 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Gladstone Public Library, 300 South 10th St. in Gladstone. The party will include raffles and a pie social.
