NARFE to meet Oct. 27

MARQUETTE — Members of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1900 will hear a presentation by Dr. Bob Lorinser at their next meeting. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, and will be offered in-person and on Zoom.

Lorinser is a Democratic candidate for Michigan’s 1st District Congressional seat. Lorinser was a family physician in Marquette for more than 20 years; served the State Department as a diplomat for ten years, and is currently the Marquette County Health Department medical director. He will address the NARFE group via Zoom.

The in-person meeting will be in Room B of the Marquette Senior Center, 300 W. Spring Street in Marquette, on the lower level of City Hall. Spring Street is one-way from east to west.
