ESCANABA — AAUW (American Association of University Women) will hold a luncheon meeting Sept. 18 at St. Stephen’s Church. Social hour will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a buffet lunch served at noon. The guest speaker will be Jan VanGasse, AAUW president of Michigan. She will discuss AAUW in the state and branch program ideas. Reservations can be made by calling Judy at 906-789-1905. All reservations must be made by Sept. 10.

AAUW is open to men and women holding an associates degree or higher. Started in 1881, the organization is globally recognized for its advancement of equality for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.
