Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle for the week of Aug. 23 is Mary Kallio of Escanaba of Escanaba. This was week four of the raffle.

Legion Post 115 to meet Sept. 1

ESCANABA TOWNSHIP — The Escanaba River Post 115 of the American Legion and the Auxiliary will meet Wednesday, Sept. 1 at the Wells Township in Marquette County at 7:30 p.m.

Eagles breakfast Sunday

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles Club, located at 608 Ludington Street, will be serving breakfast on Sunday, Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
