Rock concerts continue

ROCK — Rock’s Concerts at the Gazebo series will continue to have concerts for the next two Wednesdays to make up for cancellations due to rain. The bands playing for the next two weeks are:

Angels and Outlaws — Aug. 18

Flat Broke Blues Band — Aug. 25

The concerts are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests should bring their own chair. A 50/50 raffle is held each evening. Concessions are available, and on Wednesday, Aug. 25 an ice cream social will be held free of charge to those attending.

Steak feed canceled

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone American Legion Post 71 steak feed planned for Aug. 26 has been canceled.

Escanaba reunion ­planning meeting set

ESCANABA — Members of the Escanaba High School Class of 1962 are invited to a reunion planning meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. at Stone’s Deli in downtown Escanaba.
