LOS ANGELES — Patrick Bonczyk has earned a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he was also awarded a Dean’s Medal for Overall Academic Achievement by the Dean of UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music.

Bonczyk is a 2005 graduate of Escanaba High School and holds an MA, also in musicology, from Michigan State University (2012). He is the son of Dave and Judi Bonczyk of Rapid River.
