PERKINS — St. Joseph Church of Perkins will be having an outdoor or to go fish fry on Saturday, May 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club for the week of May 10 is Michael Rymkos of Escanaba, who won $100. This was week 41 of the raffle.

906 SERA in person meet Canceled

MARQUETTE — State Employee Retirees Association (SERA) 906 Chapter, which encompasses the entire Upper Peninsula, has canceled its meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 19 at the Citizen’s Forum of Lakeview Arena in Marquette. The decision was made due to state health department rules.

This was to be the first meeting of the year for the 906 Chapter. The chapter board will meet after the health department ban is lifted, which is set to take place at the end of May.
