Bark River planning meeting set for Sunday

BARK RIVER — Bark River’s third 150th anniversary meeting will be held Sunday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the Bark River Senior Center. This is for the planning of Bark River’s sesquicentennial celebration. Anyone interested in the planning process is encouraged to attend.

GLADSTONE — The Delta County chapter of MARSP has announced its May 4 meeting at Memorial United Methodist Church, in Gladstone, has been canceled.

League of Women Voters book sale today

ESCANABA — The Delta County League of Women Voters will hold a used book sale at the Kiwanis Home and Garden Show this weekend at the Ruth Butler Building on the U.P. State Fairgrounds. The hours of the show are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
