NARFE meeting goes virtual for November

ESCANABA — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1900 will meet via Zoom at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25. NARFE members who are not on the Chapter email distribution and who want to receive the Zoom link and password should email narfe1900.scty@gmail.com.

Any active or retired Federal employees are invited to attend NARFE meetings. Non-members are welcome as guests.

Chapter 1900 will not hold a meeting in December.

NARFE Chapter 1900 was chartered in 1983 and includes members from the Marquette, Escanaba, Rapid River, Ontonagon, L’Anse, Houghton and Hancock areas. For additional information please email narfe1900.scty@gmail.com.

Coat drive ongoing

ESCANABA — The Salvation Army and Delta County Airport are engaging in a joint partnership to collect coats for the needy this season. The coat drive will run until Dec. 6. The drop off locations are Pats Food-Gladstone, The Store gas station on South Lincoln Road, and the Delta County Airport.
