Schoolhouse closed, banquet canceled

GARDEN — The Garden Peninsula Historical Society has decided not to open the Schoolhouse Museum this summer because of the COVID-19 virus. The Honoree Dinner, scheduled for September, has also been canceled.

Women’s AA meeting location moved

ESCANABA — The Women’s Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting held previously at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Escanaba is now being held in the First United Methodist Church, located at 302 S. 6th St., Escanaba. Women’s AA open meetings will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. Use the back entrance.
