The background shows the south side of #6 ore dock, at the time the C&NW had docks #5 and #6. Dock #5 was dismantled in 1957. Dock #6 was dismantled the winter of 1969-1970 to make way for the present conveyor dock which sits on #6 dock’s foundation.
