Remember When?

Courtesy photo This photo of Arvid Bosk having his lunch was taken about 1930. Bosk was employed as a B&B (Bridge and Building) carpenter for the Chicago and Northwestern Railway. The background shows the south side of #6 ore dock, at the time the C&NW had docks #5 and #6. Dock #5 was dismantled in 1957. Dock #6 was dismantled the winter of 1969-1970 to make way for the present conveyor dock which sits on #6 dock’s foundation.
