Wells Lions 52 week ­raffle ­winners named

WELLS — The winners of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle winners for the week of April 6 are Kit Spring of Spring Hill, Fla. and Lynn Fennel of Chesterfield, Mich. Spring and Fennel each won $250. This was week 36 of the raffle.

Bay de Noc Lions seek charter members

­ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Lions Club has issued an open invitation to anyone interested in becoming a charter member. The group is active in projects and and programs that help the local community, and utilizes a number of technology-based, future-forward communication methods to gather. These methods — which are designed to save time, travel, and expense — include phone, text, email, and Zoom video conferencing.
