SHORT – Orville Short III and Leann Short of Bark River announce the birth of their daughter, Lillian Marie, born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on Aug. 6.

The infant arrived at 3:46 p.m. weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 17 3/4 inches in length.

Kevin Jr. and Shannon Priebe of Flat Rock, and Orville Jr. and Kimberly Short of Hale, Mich., are Lillian Marie’s grandparents.

Her great-grandparents are Bonnie and Duane Petrovich, Kevin Priebe, Kim and Chuck Gylock, Orville Short Sr., and William and Carol Barkholz.

DELVAUX – An infant girl, Vivienne Noelle, arrived at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 22, at 9:38 a.m. to Jake and Lesley (Noel) Delvaux of Rapid River.

The baby weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches in length.

Vivienne’s grandparents are Martin Noel, Sharlene Hanson and Kim and Jenny Pepin, all of Escanaba.

Her great-grandparents are George and Carol Noel, Margaret St. Vincent, Dan and Bonnie Larson, and Roger and Bonnie Pepin.

BOLTON – Benvolio Robin is the name chosen for the son of Arthur and Jeanie (Soper) Bolton of Escanaba. The infant was born on July 30, at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 12:33 p.m. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19.5 inches at birth.

Benvolio’s grandparents are John and Angela Soper of Escanaba, Chris Bolton of Bognor Regis, United Kingdom and Anne Bolton of Bristol, United Kingdom.

The baby’s great-grandparents are Nancy Camp and Pat Soper of Escanaba.

LARSEN – Jason and Elizabeth Larsen, of Lake Orion, Mich. announce the birth of their daughter, Eleanor Elizabeth Esther, born on July 9, at 4:05 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

This is the couples first child.

Eleanor joins one sister, Isabella, and one brother, Oliver, at home.

Her grandparents are Carl and Judy Larsen of Escanaba and Kevin and Christine Eudy of North Carolina. Betty McBrew of Lake Orion is the baby’s great-grandmother.

SOPER – An infant girl, Vanessa Marie, was born to William Soper and Ellie Tatrow of Escanaba on Aug. 3.

The infant was born at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 7:05 p.m. weighing 7 pounds, 3.8 ounces and measuring 19 inches in length.

Vanessa Marie’s grandparents are Julie and Kevin Robitaille and Robert and Kristal Soper all of Escanaba, and Charlie and Kay Tatrow of Garden.

KOBASIC -Haylee Angeline is the name chosen for Andrew and Erin (Delke) Kobasic’s baby girl born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 23. The infant arrived at 3:21 p.m. weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches in length.

Haylee Angeline will join two sisters and three brothers in the home.

Scott Delke of Escanaba and Rick and Patty Kobasic of Ford River are the infant’s grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Beverly Delke of Marquette and Fleta Gacki of Lansing.

GILBERT – Kinslee Nea, an infant girl, was born to Erik and Amee (Reynolds) Gilbert of Escanaba on July 27, at 10:19 p.m. The infant was welcomed at OSF St. Francis Hospital weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 18 1/2 inches long. This is the couple’s first child.

Kinslee Nea’s grandparents are Randy and Carolyn Reynolds and Brian and Connie Gilbert all of Escanaba.

Richard and Bernice Caron, Jack and Kay Reynolds, John and the late Dolly Gilbert, and the late Robert and Claira Plave are the baby’s great-grandparents.

MCCARTHY -Jason and Jaime McCarthy of Escanaba welcomed a baby girl, their first child, born at Marquette General Hospital on July 24th at 1:44a.m. Isla Rose McCarthy weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Ed and Vicky Giguere of Escanaba are Isla’s maternal grandparents. Ed and Sue McCarthy of Escanaba and Jim and Tina Jensen of Escanaba are Isla’s paternal grandparents.

Gerald and Elizabeth Potvin of Wells are Isla’s great-grandparents.

MAULDING – A baby boy, Jason Joshua James, arrived at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 7 at 7:22 p.m. to Josh and Stephanie (Howerton) Maulding of Gladstone. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 11.9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Jason’s grandparents are Tom and Wendy Howerton of Escanaba, Mary and Mike LaPalm of Vulcan, and Mark and Deb Maulding of Gladstone.

Beverly Gurney, of Gladstone, Virginia Godin of Escanaba, Leona Rentola of Rock and Marlene Maulding of Rapid River are the baby’s great-grandparents.

HAY – Escanaba residents Steven and Shannon (Fleury) Hay, welcomed a baby boy, their third son, Rylan Andrew, born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 2, at 4:55 p.m. He weighed 9 pounds, 4.8 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

The baby joins brothers, Aiden, and Griffin, at home.

Wayne and Tammy Fleury, of Escanaba, and Tom and Darlene Hay, of Gladstone, are Rylan’s grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Theresa Fleury-Johnson, of Cornell, Richard Hentz, of Escanaba, and William and Audrey Hay, of Escanaba.

HOLOCHWOST – Gladstone residents, Nathan and Michelle (Gardner) Holochwost, welcomed their son, Carson Harold, on July 25, at OSF St. Francis Hospital. The infant arrived at 11:47 p.m. weighing 8 pounds, 4.7 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches in length.

Carson Harold joins one older brother, Mason, age 2, in the home.

The baby’s grandparents are Mike and Jennifer Gardner of Gladstone and Tim and Maxine Holochwost of Perronville.

Harold and Alice Dahlberg of Bark River, Ray and Ardene Gardner of Escanaba, and Laura and Wayne Bernard of Gladstone are Carson’s great-grandparents.

WARREN – Former Escanaba residents, Matt and Heather (Maki) Warren of Kalamazoo, welcomed their second child, a baby boy, at Bronson Methodist Hospital on July 17, at 12:41 p.m. Hayden Matthew weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 18 inches long at birth.

He joins his sister, Alyssa Warren, at home.

Donna and John Soltis of Gladstone, the late Myron Maki of Rock, and Tom and Deb Warren of Escanaba are Hayden’s grandparents.

Shirley Maki of Rock, and Ervin and Angeline Hood of Stephenson are the baby’s great-grandparents.

GROLEAU – Curt and Angela (Carlson) Groleau of Sidney, Mont. announce the birth of their daughter, Miranda Mae, born on June 30, at Sidney Health Care. The baby arrived at 8:56 a.m. weighing 7 pounds, 7.3 ounces and measuring 19 3/4 inches in length.

Miranda Mae joins brother Wyatt, age 9, in the home.

Gary and Donna Carlson of Escanaba and Mike and Debbie Groleau of Wilson are the baby’s grandparents.

Her great-grandparents are Lester and Eleanor Kamin of Escanaba, Gloria Lanaville and Romeo and Irene Groleau of Wilson, and Leonard and Kay Lanaville of Silverwood, Mich.

RUSSELL-HESSE – Jeffery and Kiri (Brabyn-Hesse) Russell of Escanaba announce the birth of their son, Daimeyan Duane-lee, born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 21 at 7:27 p.m. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3.5 ounces and was 19 inches in length.

Daimeyan Duane-lee joins brother, Mathieu.

His grandparents are Carrie and the late Duane Brabyn of Escanaba.

Great-grandparents are Shirley Russell and the late Dalene Benson of Escanaba.

ANSAY – Hannah Renee Ansay was born at 10:53 p.m June 3 to Thomas and Ashley (Tyynela) Ansay of Fredonia, Wis. Hannah, who weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long, was born at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wis. This is the couple’s first child.

Hannah’s grandparents are Ronald and Christine Ansay of Fredonia, Wis., and David and Michelle Tyynela of Rock. Her great grandparents are Theresa Hilt of Lomira, Wis., and Karen Thomson of Gladstone.

Her great-great grandparent is Maxine Gorman of Harbor Springs, Mich.

MAKI – Sarah and Travis Maki of Gladstone welcomed their fourth child on July 17, at 11:39 am, in Marquette. Erin Kathryn Maki weighed 8 pounds, 6.9 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

She was welcomed by her big brothers, James Greenlun, age 15, and Jacob Maki, age 10, along with big sister, Raeanna Maki, age 11.

Erins maternal grandparents are Robert and Margaret Greenlund of Rapid River, and paternal grandparents are Curtis (Papa Duck) and Wanda Maki of Bisbee, Ariz., and Chuck and the late Vicki Branstrom of Perkins.

The baby’s great-grandmother is Audrey Hayes of Ontonogan and Agatha Branstrom of Perkins.

Nault – Justin and Amanda (Anderson) Nault of Gladstone announce the birth of their son, Justin Anthony Nault Jr. born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on July 15, at 12:37 p.m. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 18 inches long.

Justin Anthony joins one sister, Braelyn, at home.

His grandparents are Jeff and Medley Bichler of Bark River, Louie Anderson of Gladstone, Todd Nault and Lorri Lamarche of Rapid River.

Macco – An infant daughter, Vaida Elizabeth, arrived at OSF St. Francis Hospital to Todd and Betsy (VanDamme) Macco of Negaunee. The baby was born on July 11, at 1:36 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 2.3 ounces and measuring 17.5 inches long.

Vaida Elizabeth’s grandparents are Bob and Candee VanDamme of Rock and Al and Robin Macco of Stephenson,
