HARRIS — The Little River Band will be gracing the Island Resort and Casino’s Showroom stage on Oct. 6 and 7 at 8 p.m.

LRB has enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart topping songs such as “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Take It Easy on Me,” “Man On Your Mind,” and many others.

The band consists of members Wayne Nelson, lead vocals/bass; Greg Hind, guitar/vocals; Chris Marion, keyboards/vocals; Rich Herring, guitar/vocals and Ryan Ricks, drums/percussion/vocals.

According to the band’s website, each show “creates new memories for the audience,” as the LRB enjoys watching fans fall in love with songs as they are performed live.

In November of 2016, LRB released “The Hits…Revisited on Wurld Records” a CD consisting of nine re-recorded hits along with two new songs.

Most recently, the band released “The Big Box”–a box set consisting of six discs featuring a DVD with live footage from LRB’s 40th anniversary tour.

One of the band’s most notable accomplishments happened in 2004 when they were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame at the 18th annual AIRA Music Awards. In 2015, the band was awarded Casino Entertainer of the Year at the G2E Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.
