Austin Berg and Brooke Mathias

WILSON — Brooke Elizabeth Mathias and Austin Christopher Berg announce their engagement.

Brooke is the daughter of John and Nicole Mathias of Wilson and Austin is the son of Christopher and Heidi Berg of Bark River. Brooke is a graduate of St. Norbert College in 2019, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Austin graduated in 2016 from Northern Michigan University, and has earned a lineman certificate.

Brooke is studying at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa to be a physician’s assitant, and Austin is employed by Verso in Escanaba as a laborer.

With their parents, the couple is planning a Sept. 14, 2019 wedding in Bark River.
