Leslie Shapy and Jacob Coleman

DePERE, Wis. — Jerry and Kay Shapy of Escanaba and Glen and JoAnn Coleman of Green Bay, Wis. are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Leslie Mary Shapy and Jacob Andrew Coleman.

Leslie is a 2009 graduate of Escanaba High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Communication/Media Studies from St. Norbert College in 2013. She was awarded her master’s degree in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication from Iowa State University in May 2016. Leslie is currently working as fund development manager for the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes in Appleton, Wis.

Jake is a 2007 graduate of Bonduel High School and earned an associate’s degree in Marketing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2010. He works as a dental claims processor for Humana in Green Bay, Wis.

The couple is planning a summer 2017 wedding.
