Blizzard warnings were posted throughout Michigan today as snow and wind combined to hamper travel and close schools and offices in the Escanaba area. Travel advisories were posted and blowing snow made low visibility and poor driving conditions. winds in the Escanaba area were clocked at 60 miles per hour. Daily Press Photographer Joe Mahoney took this picture in the 700 block of Ludington St. of Bruce Nelson walking to work.
