Fresh Coast Film Festival starts in Marquette

MARQUETTE — The Fresh Coast Film Festival is taking place Thursday through Sunday in Marquette.

This year’s festival has four days of movies at nine film venues, with 18 outdoor tours, 90 films and 33 hours of content.

Venues hosting the films include: Blackrocks Brewery; Box Office at The Marquette Commons; Fresh Coast Basecamp at Lower Harbor Park; Ore Dock Brewing Co. in the Community Space and The Station; the Peter While Public Library’s Community Room, Heritage Room and Shiras Room; The Evergreen Market Treehouse; The Honorable Distillery; and the Women’s Federated Clubhouse.

The 18 outdoor tours include a sunrise photo with Bugsy Sailor, a hunt for Harlow’s Wooden Man, a tour of Kona Hills and much more.

Tickets cost $192 for a full premium weekend pass with numerous amenities, $86 for a weekend pass, $43 for a day pass, $32 for a student pass and they have options for filmmakers as well.
