Asher Nixx Nelson

NELSON — A baby boy, Asher Nixx Nelson, was born to Lauren and Derec Nelson of Escanaba on Aug. 13, 2024. Asher arrived at 6:39 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces. He was 20 inches long.

Asher joins siblings Axle Aho and Eliza Nelson at home.

The baby’s grandparents are Jennifer Nelson of Gladstone, Brad and Christine Nelson of Ford River, and Valerie and Craig Nelson of Escanaba.

Asher’s great-grandparents are Pat and Dennis Nelson of Ford River and Rita and Reynold Nelson of ­Escanaba.
