NEW LIFE

ESCANABA — Sunday morning worship services will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Nursery is available for both services. The church offers a variety of children and adult discipleship groups in both small and large group settings with specific needs in mind. “Connections” fellowship is held immediately following each service.

Men’s Bible study gathers Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Christian men’s fellowship coffee hour follows at 8:15 p.m. at Culver’s.

Coffee fellowship is from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. service, and at the 10:45 a.m. service on the first and third Sunday of the month during the school year. All are welcome. At 9:30 a.m., adult forum hour will be held in the fellowship hall downstairs, Sunday school classes will begin, and the senior choir and the children and cherub’s choir will rehearse.

The Sunday morning worship service airs each week from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. on WCHT AM 600 and FM 105.5.

On Monday, Bible study class will be held in the fellowship hall at 9 a.m. The Boy Scouts will meet in the fellowship hall at 7 p.m., and the church council will also meet at this time.

Zumba will be held in the educational building at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. At 1:30 p.m., the Bethany Gems Circle will meet in the fellowship hall. Choral Society practice will take place in the church sanctuary at 7 p.m., and the men’s dartball league is off this week for hunting.

Quilting will take place in the fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The Ark Preschool is a licensed, non-profit, preschool for children two and half to six years old. A certified director, teachers, and teaching assistants provide an enriched environment for the children to grow. The church ladies will have their wreaths for sale at the Perkins store, Joe’s One Stop in Rock, and the Rapid River Mini-Mart. The price is $20, and half the proceeds will go to the U.P. Honor Flight.
