Black Bears sweep soccer and volleyball doubleheaders

GARDEN CORNERS — The Big Bay de Noc Black Bears made it a clean sweep this weekend, posting a pair of volleyball and soccer victories over the Mackinac Island Lakers. Rapid River makes season debut in Engadine

ENGADINE — The Rapid River cross country teams made their season debut a successful one by winning both ends of the Engadine Rock & Roll Relays here Thursday. Rapid River’s boys scored five points, followed by Engadine six and Manistique 11.
