Gladstone school bond

EDITOR: I was wondering why the Gladstone bond proposal had to have a special election and it couldn’t wait to be on the ballots in the fall? Could it be because a lot of the registered voters don’t usually vote on special elections and the school board figures this will be an opportune time to get their wish list granted to them behind our backs? And what about the extra costs of holding a special election to the city of Gladstone and Escanaba Township when this could have happened in the fall elections, is the school district going to reimburse the costs if it gets voted down? ...
