MHSAA delays spring

sports by one week

EAST LANSING — The Representative Council of the Michigan High School Athletic Association approved an adjustment to the Spring 2021 schedule Monday.

The start of Spring practices will be dalyed by one week to March 22, and competition will be pushed back to March 26 to accomodate the later completion of winter sports.

Road race March 14

ESCANABA — The 37th Annusl Escanaba Slip-Sliding-Away five-mile fun run is set for March 14 at 2 p.m.

Registration begins at 12:30 in the conference room at Harbor Towers. Entry fee is $3 in advance and $5 on race day. Trophies will be awarded to the top individual male and female finishers wtih ribbons going to the top three in each age division.

Phone registrations will be accepted at the lower rate through March 13 at midnight.
