Week 5 Vertical Raise

Player of the Week

Offensive line Week

WINNER:

Nolan Strahl, Center, Stephenson

Coach Carlson mentioned 'Nolan Strahl is a three-year team captain, the leader and field general of our offensive line, and has played more snaps than any player in Stephenson's 8-man football history. He is one of the hardest-working young men I have coached in my career and is the type of player who never gives up, never backs down, and leads by example every single day. This season, Nolan has personally allowed just one sack in over 140 passing plays while consistently anchoring our offensive line. More importantly, he is a great young man with an excellent attitude who represents everything we want our football program to stand for.'

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Caiden Crites, C, North Dickinson

Coach mentioned 'Caiden has become our utility guy. He started the season at center and them when we needed an end he moved there. Then during our week 4 game our left guard got hurt he stepped in and did a great job for the rest of the game and during our week5 game as well.'

Jacob Schlesser, T, Bark River/Harris

Coach Adams mentioned 'Jacob has been our left tackle on Varsity since he was a sophomore. As an o-lineman he can do it all from pull to lead block on sweep or pull downhill to kickout on trap. Our team has rushed for 1460 yards so far this season and he’s a big reason why. He hasn’t given up a sack all season either.

Archer Nelson, C, Engadine

Coach Hood mentioned 'Archer plays center and directs the offense line. And loves the game of football. Great team player!!
