HARRIS -- The Menominee Maroons used a 14-0 first quarter to escape with a 38-30 victory over the Bark River-Harris Broncos here Friday.
Broncos senior Andy Johnson carried the ball 31 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Gionni McDonough had two catched for 37 yards and a touchdown.
Maroons quarterback Dylan Beal had a big night as he had an 80-yard TD run and and a pair of TDs threw the air as the Maroons held on to improve to 8-1 on the season and will host Oscoda and Bark River-Harris will host L’Anse in the first round of the playoffs.
