154 yards and 2 TDs, 1 catch for 12 yards. 7 tackles and 1 sack on defense, Coach Gillis mentioned 'Alex, who is a senior, hasn't played football since he was in 8th grade. This was the first game where he looked comfortable on the field. He was all over the field offensively and defensively, a big reason we won our first game this year'
Coleman Loebach RB, CB, Engadine
He rushed for 154yds on 17 carries and had 10 tackles 4 sacks and a INT 74 yards for a TD. To lift his team just before halftime!. Coach Hood mentioned 'Coleman's works very hard in practice. Watches a lot of film. And is a great leader on and off the field!!
Archer Nelson, Center and DE, Engadine
Every play starts with Archer on offense we had 265 yards of offense and he plays Defense End he had 11 tackles 4 sacks and 2 tipped passes. Coach Hood mentioned 'Archer plays center and directs the offense line. And loves the game of football. Great team player!!'
Mason Andrzejack, RB, Pickford
Offense:9 carries for 52 yards 2 rushing tds, 3 2-point conversions, 9 catches for 72 yards. Defense 3 tackles 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception returned for a touchdown, 5 passes broken up, Coach mentioned Mason was all over the field tonight. He was making big plays on offense and making big plays on defense. He was a true leader in a very physical game. Mason was the sparkplug on offense and lead by example on defense.'
Luke Benish (RB/OLB), Manistique
16 carries for 138 yards and 2 TD’s, 2 Solo Tackles, 3 Assists. Coach Kangas mentioned 'Luke is an extremely hard worker who has started to take on a huge leadership role for us. This past game he ran the ball 16 times for 138 yards for just over 8.5 yards per carry and two touchdowns.'
Ben Keranen (Qb), Hancock
Passing: 96 yards, 1TD — Rushing: 80 yards, 2TD. Coach mentioned 'Ben Keranen is our senior quarterback. He is having a great season so far and had a good game last Friday vs Gwinn. He managed the game well and made great decisions on the field.'
Gionni McDonough RB/S, Bark River/Harris
85 Yards in a Kick Return 95 yards rushing on 11 carries and a Rushing TD. Coach Adams mentioned 'Gionni set the tone with an opening kick return TD. His rushing numbers don’t tell the whole story as he is such a weapon with all the eyes he draws on his fakes. He is really the difference maker in the game.
