SPALDING -- As the high school football season nears its halfway point. It's time for another Meet the Athlete, today we introduce North Central junior Pryar LaBonte fresh off a 100 yard rushing game with four touchdowns against the Munising Mustangs. The Jets will play the No. 1 ranked team in the U.P. Saturday when they travel to Lake Linden-Hubble.

Adam Hinch: So when did you start playing football?

Pryar LaBonte: I have been playing football since before I was five years old and it is my favorite sport. I love the team aspect of it that you don't get with wrestling.

Adam Hinch: Do you have intentions to play football past high school?

Pryar LaBonte: I would if i'm good enough for it otherwise I would like to go into the trades.

Adam Hinch: What do you want to do for a career after school?

Pryar LaBonte: I would like to be an electrical lineman.

Adam Hinch: What is your favorite NFL team?

Pryar LaBonte: The Detroit Lions.

Adam Hinch: What is your favorite food?

Pryar LaBonte: I would say a venison roast with mashed potatoes.

Adam Hinch: Do you have a favorite college football team?

Pryar LaBonte: The Michigan Wolverines.

Adam Hinch: What is your favorite kind of music?

Pryar LaBonte: I like country music.

Adam Hinch: Do you have a favorite artist?

Pryar LaBonte: Tyler Childers.

Adam Hinch: If you could visit any NFL stadium this year which one would it be?

Pryar LaBonte: The Bills new stadium.

Adam Hinch: What is your favorite soft drink?

Pryar LaBonte: Dr. Pepper.

Adam Hinch: Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Pryar LaBonte: Yes.

Adam Hinch: What do you put on your burger?

Pryar LaBonte: Everything, especially fried egg.

Adam Hinch: If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go?

Pryar LaBonte: Montana up in the mountains.

Adam Hinch: What is your favorite part of high school football?

Pryar LaBonte: The team bonding being with my teammates and doing things together.
