ESCANABA -- There's still time to enter the 79th Annual Michigan-Wisconsin Open tennis tournament
Time is starting to run short, however, as entries are due the middle of next week for the tournament which takes place Aug. 1-2 in Ludington and Veterans Park and on the high school courts.
Singles begin play Aug. 1 with doubles taking centerstage Sunday.
Entry fee is $25 for singles and $15 a person for doubles.
The entries with payment must be received by Wednesday to receive a T-shirt.
All players are requested to check in by 8 a.m. each day. Schedules will be posted Aug. 1 at Ludington Park, which is the tourney's headquarters.
Forms should be made to Esky Tennis and mailed to the Escanaba Recreation Department, Attn: MI/WI Tennis, P.O. Box 948, Escanaba, MI 49829.
