Point standings continue to tighten of last half of the season

ESCANABA -- With only four nights remaining in the 2026 stock car racing season at Escanaba Motor Speedway, the points battles continue to be razor thin in multiple classes.
In the 600 sprints, Jayger Quinn sits alone at the top of the standings with 169 points, Brayden Lundquist is second one point back and Braxton Lundquist is third 10 points back. Chase Richer and Bentley Richer round out the top five tied with 104 points each.
In the super modified class, Rick Ness sits in first place with 141 points two points ahead of Scott Degnan with 139 points and four points ahead of Paul Hosking who is in third place with 137 points. Drake Degnan sits in fourth place with 102 points and Abi Yelle is fifth with 97.
In the junior sprints, Tanner Rae sits at 180 points three ahead of Keagan Jensen and a five-point lead over Colton Yelle. Wyatt Ammelis fourth at 141 points and Aubrianna Mathieson is fifth with 128.
In the sportsman sprints, Braxton Lundquist holds down the top spot with 182 points. Nathan Viau is two points back in second and Macy Degnan and Tanner Hanson are tied at 175 points and Dalton Gustavson is fifth at 173 points.
In the street stocks, Tony Begovac sits in first place with 185 points. Paul Wagner is second with 184 points, Brayden Lundquist is third with 179 points and Drake Degnan sits fourth with 174 and Cole Hagwell rounds out the top five with 169.
In the sport modified class, Matt Valiquette holds down the top spot with 190 points. Rick Gustavson is second with 184 and Anthony Harper is third at 182. Matt Maki IV sits in fourth place at 179 and Bradley Viau rounds out the top five tied with Kyle Johnson at 166.
In the sport compacts, Calvin Stueck continues to sit at the top of the standings now 18 points ahead of second place driver Dylan Lannaville who has shown big improvements over the 2026 season. Andrew Vandrese is third at 151 points and Mike Berube is fourth at 146. Tanner Olson rounds out the top five with 143 points.
The Escanaba Motor Speedway will be back at it Saturday night and with a 60 percent chance of rain the Escanaba Speedway Board of Directors has announced that they will race Sunday at 5pm if Saturday night rains out.
