Julia Maki wins second feature of 2026 season

ESCANABA -- Julia Maki returned to victory lane Saturday for the first time since the season opener on May 23rd.
Maki also had a feature win on May 26, 2024 and has accumulated 12 Top 5 finishes and 17 Top 10 finishes in her career.
"I want to thank all of my sponsors and my parents for supporting me," Maki said. "The track was nice tonight. It was a little bumpy at times but it was fun."
Maki has only raced three weekends during the 2026 season but also spends weekends playing softball for various travel teams. Maki stated she enjoys coming to Escanaba Motor Speedway and said she enjoys the sport of racing.
The Escanaba Motor Speedway will be back in action Saturday August 8th with a full program of racing starting at 6 p.m. Points standing continue to tighten up as we have only three regular season race night remaining in the 2026 regular season.
