Evan Hawley picks up Late Model feature win

SANDS -- It was hot and humid here Sunday afternoon for the races at Sands Speedway.

The afternoon kicked off with a dash for cash in the four-cylinder mod class, with Al Wendrick picking up the win.

In the four-cylinder street class, Travis Prisk came away with the heat and feature sweep. James Forton Jr. came in second and Kristian Walters finished third. Tyler Prisk rounded out the four car field.

In the four-cylinder mod class, Al Wendrick picked up the heat and feature sweep. Joshua Karnack rebounded from a fifth place finish in the heat race to finish second in the feature and Shawn Harry came in third. Don Cotterman and Travis Prisk rounded out the top five.

In the fuel injected class, Nathan Goodwin took home the heat and feature sweep. Evan Hawley came in second and Thad Goodwin finished third. Shane Miller and Bernard Penegor rounded out the top five.

In the super stock class, Ray Keskimaki picked up the feature win. Bode Johnson finished second and won the heat race. Gary Stanaway finished third. Tony Nayback and Paul Holton rounded out the top five.

In the late models , Evan Hawley picked up the feature win and Reece Cavin finished second and won his heat race. Nathan Goodwin came in third and Bob Goodwin and Anthony Karnack rounded out the top five.
