ESCANABA — The 7th Annual Christian Groleau Memorial Race will take place this Saturday night at Escanaba Motor Speedway (EMS) as the track and community remembers Christian Groleau, an avid racer and athlete who had his life cut short to suicide, which is a leading cause of death in people under 25 as 11 out of 100,000 people commit suicide each year. The Groleau Family and the (EMS) celebrate Christian’s life while raising money for suicide prevention so that many people can have the opportunity to battle mental illness. There will be bucket raffles and a 50/50 drawing and fun for the whole family.

The first green flag is scheduled to drop at 7 p.m. with gates opening at 5:00.
