Chris Broeders wins first career feature

ESCANABA -- The Escanaba Motor Speedway continued with the second half of the 2026 racing season here Saturday.

In the 600 sprint class, Braxton Lundquist picked up the heat and feature sweep. Jace Murray started fourth on the grid and raced his way to a second place finish and Jayger Quinn finished third. Austin Berg and Brayden Lundquist rounded out the top five.

In the super mod class, Rick Ness picked up the feature win from fourth place on the starting grid. Drake Degnan came in second and Scott Degnan finished third and won the heat race. Paul Hosking and Coletan Pepin rounded out the top five.

In the junior sprint class, Julia Maki picked up the feature win. Colton Yelle charged his way from seventh on the starting grid to finish second and Tanner Rae who came in as the points leader finished third and won the heat race. Wyatt Ammel and Lilah Wagner rounded out the top five.

In the sportsman sprints, Andrew Karl picked up the feature win Nathan Viau came from fifth on the starting grid to finish second and Macy Degnan came in third. Tanner Hansen and Dalton Gustavson rounded out the top five. Braxton Lundquist won the heat race.

In the vintage mod class, Chris Broeders won his first career feature win. Dave Broeders came in second and Derek LeBresh finished third. Jeff Salomon and Richard Lantagne rounded out the top five. Solomon also won the heat race.

In the street stocks, Brayden Lundquist picked up the feature win. Drake Degnan came in second and won his heat race and Paul Wagner finished third and also picked up a win in heat race action.Jared Demeuse and Cody Turner rounded out the top five.

In the sport mod class, Robby Iverson picked up the heat and feature sweep. Anthony Harper finished second and Pat Richer came in third and won a heat race. James Harper and Matt Maki IV rounded out the top five.

In the sport compact class, Calvin Stueck picked up the feature win. Mark Isley came from seventh on the starting grid to finish second and Tanner Olson came in third and also won a heat race. Gerald Lanaville came in fourth and won the other heat race. Andrew Vandrese rounded out the top five.
