GLADSTONE — The Fran Cannon Firecracker five and 2½-mile run is taking place here July 4.

Also included is a 2½-mile walk and a one-mile kids’ run.

Entry fee is $35 for the five-mile run, $30 for the 2½-mile run and $20 for the walk.

The kids’ run, which begins at 8 a.m., costs $15 to enter. The other events start at 8:15.

Race material can be picked up at the large pavilion across from the State Police post July 2 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Raceday registration also takes place prior to the races at the same location.

Entry fee includes a T-shirt while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers with medals going to the top three in each age division.
