NORWAY — The 13-15 year old girls softball team sponsored by Riverside Auto Sales defeated Norway 17-6 at Marion Park here Tuesday.

Riverside got on the board first as Aubrey Adams had an RBI-single and laila grounded out to score a run. Landon Davis stole home on a passed ball to put Riverside up 3-0.

Norway tied the game in the bottom of the first but Riverside responded with five runs in the top of the third inning on only two hits.

Riverside brought two more runs in the top of the fourth as Jayden Stenberg had a solo home run and London Dubord had an RBI-double to put Riverside up 10-3.

Riverside collected nine hits in the game and Sophie Rebitzke saw the bat come to life from the seven spot in the order going 3 for 4 on the day with three runs batted in.

Riverside was also very aggressive on the bases as they stole 26 bases in the contest.
