Wendrick’s wins tight one at Gold Medal Classic

HERMANSVILLE — The action at the 87th Gold Medal Classic continued here Thursday night as Swish, Carney defeated Brick City, Felch 57-43. Max Baumler led the way for Swish with 20 points and Dalton Wagner added 11. Matt Brunette led the way for Brick City with 14 points.
In game two, Wendrick’s took down Gallino’s Gutters 73-69. Wendrick’s had three in double figures including Reece Kangas with 18 points, David Romps had 13 and Hunter Robinson had 11. Anthony Pineada led the way for Gallino’s Gutters with 20 points, Cole Baij added 19 and Elliott Kraemer had 18.
In game three, Morning Ballers came away with a 86-81 victory over Jim’s Plumbing. Saqm Mauluner led the way for Morning Ballers with 36 points and Trent Kitealla added 22, Owen Kuehnow led the way for Jim’s Plumbing with 30 points.
In the final game of the night, Dave’s Auto defeated Iron Mountain 79-62. Kyle Johson led the way for Dave’s Auto with 22 points and Ian Martila led the way for Iron Mountain with 13 points.
