HERMANSVILLE — As high school basketball winds down, the action on the court is just beginning for the 87th Annual Gold Medal Classic. Four games took place here Wednesday night at the Frank Rodman Community Club.

In the second game, Sidetrack defeated Teals Farm 58-45 in Class EE action. Tyler Mercier had 28 points and Ben Stage added 10. North Central senior Brooks Castle made his Gold Medal Classic debut and had three points and 10 rebounds and said this tournament is a lot different than high school basketball.
