The Escanaba High School Skating Club Team swept District 7 Level B title, Level C 2nd place recently during a competition held in Marquette.

District 7 Competition is as follows:

All skaters are members of the Escanaba Area Figure Skating Club. The team includes: Escanaba High School, Gladstone High School, and Bark River High School. The team is coached by Mary Gauthier and Heather LaPalm.

“The team worked very well together this past season and the results show their efforts,” said Gauthier. “As a coach, it is rewarding to see the improvement from start to end with each and every skater. I like the team concept and all the girls supporting each other.”
