WELLS — The 14th-annual Mary Vandermissen Holiday Classic, which took place Friday and Saturday, brought together 150 athletes who participated in a figure skating competition on the ice at the Hannahville Ice & Turf Complex. A high school competition was held in conjunction with the event.

A previously-run story on the event, published in the Dec. 9 Daily Press, mistakenly listed an error in regards to one of the categories. The first-place winner of the solo artistic competition was Escanaba High School senior Grace Clishe.
