Lennox Peacock signs with Western Michigan University

ESCANABA — A lifelong dream became a reality for Lennox Peacock here Thursday as he signed his letter of intent to Western Michigan University.
“I have always wanted to play baseball at the college level,” Peacock said. “That is something I dreamed about as a kid and I’m very excited for the opportunity.”
Peacock will begin classes in the fall of 2026 and will study in the in the business and sales marketing field.
Peacock stated that in his visit to the campus said it felt like home. Peacock said these four years in Escanaba were great.
“There is no feeling like putting on the black and orange, whether it is baseball or basketball it just feels good to be a part of a great school and all the people who have supported me over the years I can’t thank them enough,” Peacock said.
Peacock was second team All-Conference in his freshman year and first team All-Conference in 2024 and 2025 as well as Pitcher of the Year in 2025. He also received All-District and All-Region honors in 2025.
Peacock will begin his senior season in the spring and is excited about the upcoming season saying, “We are all ready for this season because everyone has bought into what we do and I cant wait to get out on the field this spring.”
