Bayside victorious over Hannahville in soccer action

HANNAHVILLE — The Bayside soccer team was in charge from start to finish her Wednesday evening as it defeated Hannahville 11-0.
It took less than minutes for Bayside to find the back of the net on a well placed kick by senior Luke Inghram and moments later sophomore Joe Nelson scored a goal to extend the Bayside lead to 2-0.
With 31:30 to go in the first half Bayside senior captain Landon Carrao scored, extending the lead to 3-0.
“I just saw the ball rolling at the top of the box and I just had to take it,” Carrao said. “It felt wide open and was just a routine shot.”
With 11:54 to go in the first half, Kristof Stahlmann scored his first of two goals on the night to extend the lead to 4-0. Junior Landon naser scored on a nice shot with 6:59 to go in the first half to give Bayside a 5-0 lead.
With 3:02 to go in the first half Inghram scored his second goal of the game and Bayside led 6-0 at halftime.
“The chemistry is pretty good on the team right now,” Carrao said. “We get together and practice a lot. This game felt nice because we got to move the ball around very well.”
Bayside scored the first goal of the second half on a penalty kick bt truth Setner extending the lead to 7-0.
“We have been working hard on building chemistry,” Bayside coach Tony Carey said. “We practice four nights a week and these are great kids and they play well on the field together.”
Levi Basso, Kyle Smith and Eastin Wakkuri each had second half goals as well as Stahlmann who scored his second goal of the game to give Bayside the 11-0 win.
