ESCANABA — Tanner Rae picked up his fifth feature win of the season Saturday night, with a special moment as Rae was crowned as the 2025 track champion in the youth micro sprints.

Rae won five of the eight regular season features and seven of the eight heat races on the season. During this season Rae never finished outside the top three.

“It felt really good,” Rae said. “I worked all season for this. I had come up short in the past and to get it tonight is awesome and I want to thank my family, friends and sponsors for all their support.

The next event for Rae is the Yooper Fall Classic on Sept. 13 where Rae looks to win his third consecutive Fall Classic crown. The Yooper Fall Classic will be a two-day event visit the Escnaba Speedway website of Facebook page for up to date info.
