Meet the Racer: Collin Paitl

BARK RIVER — This past weekend Bark River International Raceway hosted their annual race. Daily Press sports writer Adam Hinch got a chance to sit down and talk to a couple drivers for this week’s meet the racer. Today we chronicle 14-year old Collin Paitl who races in the mod kart class.
Adam Hinch: What got upu into racing?
Colin Paitl: My parents got me into it when they started racing?
AH: How old were you when you went to your first off-road race?
CP: I was three months old.
AH: What is the most enjoyable part of this sport for you?
CP: Going fast.
AH: What grade are you going into and what is your favorite subject?
CP: I.m going to be a freshman and my favorite subject is math.
AH: What is your favorite football team?
CP: The Buffalo Bills
AH: Do you play any sports in school?
CP: I play football and trap shooting.
AH: What was your best moment in your racing career?
Winning races.
AH: What is your favorite food?
CP: Tacos.
What is your favorite soft drink?
CP: Sprite.
AH: What do you like to do for hobbies outside of racing?
CP: I like hunting.
AH: If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go?
CP: Florida.
