Big Bay de Noc vs Mid Peninsula

The Big Bay de Noc volleyball team faced off against the Mid Peninsula Wolverines here Tuesday night. The Black Bears brought awareness to Multiple Myeloma in honor of Eric VanDamme.

The Black Bears won the match, (25-16, 25-18, 12-25, 25-5) in four sets.

“Carragan Thill and Payton Pederson had phenomenal games tonight,” Black Bears coach Angie Carley said. “Carragan’s net play brought us back into the game in the first set from a 1-8 deficit, giving us the momentum to win the set. Her ability to find the holes and make smart plays continued as the match played out.”

Thill had eight kills, eight digs, five aces, one block and one assist. Payton Pederson had 14 aces and 14 digs along with six kills. Destiney Bleau had 15 digs, eight kills and four aces to go along with two blocks and an assist.

North Central vs Carney Nadeau

The Wolves defeated the Jets (25-19, 25-12, 25-20) in three sets on Tuesday.

Paige Jardeen had 22 assists to go along with six digs and three aces. Elodie Lenca had 14 kills and nine digs and Meadow Walcher had six digs to gi with four aces and two kills.
