ESCANABA — After finishing the 2025 regular season with her stat line, it was no surprise that Escanaba softball senior Grayson LaMarche was named Player of the Year in the Great Northern Conference.
In regular season play she was 21-2, allowing nine earned runs with 15 walks to 274 strikeouts with a .512 ERA across 123 innings. Entering Saturday’s regional round she possesses an ERA of 0.30 with 305 strikeouts.
LaMarche, who will take her talents to the University of Michigan beginning next season, is the program’s all-time strikeout leader with 838. Her 67 career wins are second all-time. Lesley (Noel) Delxaux, who was inducted into the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame last month as part of its 2025 class, holds the record at 68.
