ESCANABA — For the second time in two weeks the 11-year-old racer from Gwinn found her way back to victory lane. This time, Amelia Hart came from sixth place on the starting grid to capture the win.

“This car was running really well tonight,” Hart said. “The track was pretty bumpy and really slick too tonight.”

Hart also came into tonight’s race with a new sponsor Crossroads Truck Repair out of Marquette.

“I want to thank my dad,” Hart said. “As well as all my sponsors for this season, Swailes Plumbing and Heating, Gwinn Ave Hardware, Lighthouse Chiropractic, Yooper Boy Services, Boony’s Welding and Fabrication, The Campground, Renegade Race Fuels and U.P. Fuels and Lubes.”

Hart will be back in action Saturday as she goes for three in a row in 2025 on Fan Appreciation Night. Grandstands open at 5 p.m. with racing starting at 7 p.m.
