ESCANABA — After two trips to victory lane in 2024 Amelia Hart wasted no time making her return in 2025 as she picked up the opening night feature win.

“It felt good to get the win tonight,” Hart said. “Going out on the track I couldn’t get the car to start. My dad had to push it to get it to start.”

Hart battled her way from third on the starting grid and had to withstand a pair of cautions in route to the win.

Hart, who competes in the youth micro sprints class, plans to run full time this season at Escanaba Motor Speedway. With Saturday’s win she has posted three wins in her career with 11 top five finishes. With consistent finishes Hart looks to be a serious contender for the track championship in 2025.

“I want to thank my dad as well as all my sponsors for this season, Swailes Plumbing and Heating, Gwinn Ave Hardware, Lighthouse Chiropractic, Yooper Boy Services, Boony’s Welding and Fabrication, The Campground, Renegade Race Fuels and U.P. Fuels and Lubes,” Hart said.

She will be back in action on Sunday as she goes for win number two in 2025.

Starting at $3.50/week.
