Ladies roundup: Esky falls to Elks, Broncos tame Wolves
ESCANABA — Friday night’s High School girls basketball saw Escanaba play its second game in two nights. It also featured a Skyline Central Conference collision between Bark River-Harris and Carney-Nadeau.

The Eskymos (1-5) couldn’t overcome cold shooting in the first half against the Elks (6-1). Esky senior Keira Maki earned a double-double, earning 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Eskymos host Marquette at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Wolves (6-2) trip to Munising for a clash at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
